Mature Edge offers a series of interactive job readiness sessions preparing the mature worker for a productive and successful job search. Whether you are needing to get back to work after a layoff, seeking a job to supplement your retirement income, or looking to pursue an encore career, now is the time to realize and promote your mature edge. Sessions will include preparing effective targeted resumes and cover letters, strategic interviewing, the hidden job market, keeping that well-earned job, and shifting the perception from “old job seekers” to applicants with workplace wisdom and an edge.

Are you eligible?
Anyone who is 60 years of age and older and resides in Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, Nevada, Sierra, Sutter, or Yuba County.

Are there any fees?
No. However, donations are always accepted and are used to sustain, support and enhance the Mature Edge Program.
