CalFresh Healthy Living
Agency on Aging Area 4's CalFresh Healthy Living program teaches people using or eligible for the CalFresh Program about good nutrition, how to make their food dollars stretch further and the importance of physical activity.
The classes and workshops featured on this page are open to eligible older adults (60+) who are either enrolled in or eligible to enroll in CalFresh (with incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) residing in Sacramento, Nevada, Placer, Sutter, Yolo or Yuba counties), but everyone is welcome to check out our recipes, fitness videos and information, gardening tips, and more!

Agency on Aging Area 4 can help you apply for CalFresh Food Benefits to help you buy the nutritious food you need for good health. Recipients who apply and meet federal income eligibility rules can purchase food at any grocery store or farmers market that accepts EBT. Receiving CalFresh Food benefits does NOT change or reduce SSI/SSP amounts.
